Fiscal Year 2025 ‒ First Report on the Italian Dispatch Program for Hig h School Students

"International Exchange Through Italian
Culture, Arts, and Cuisine"

In July 2025, as part of the Italian dispatch program, 20 high school students from Kagawa Prefecture visited Parma, Florence, and Milan. The trip provided a valuable opportunity to deepen international exchange through culture, arts, and cuisine. The students experienced Italian culture from multiple perspectives, including tours of food factories and tastings of raw ham, visits to art museums and cathedrals, winery tours, and interactions with local people. Through these experiences, they broadened their global awareness.
The students actively engaged in learning and were seen growing through the many stimulating activities. However, there were some challenges related to manners in public spaces and group behavior, highlighting the need for future guidance.
Despite the short duration of the program, it offered rich and meaningful learning experiences, making it a highly worthwhile dispatch. Director
